Yes Reading looked and sounded pretty wonderful on the TV, but believe you me, THE FESTIVAL is, and will always be, an inferior PRODUCT.

Talking of PRODUCTS, and credit where credit is due (and God knows it hurts me to say this). But the NME Icons Libertines special was: "ALRIGHT". I'll remove this quote later.

Between 2004 and 2010 Gary, Pete, Carl and John individually and together plied their trade and knocked a pretty prodigious output. As far as The Libertines were concerned though there was very little product in those six years. A couple of official releases, a handful of booklegs, ok admittedly there have been quite a few books and articles writ; most of which have been as illuminating as tar pitch paint. But all in all The Libertine Legacy hasn't been sold piece by piece and slice by slice like the dead corpse of the Pistols was. And for that we must truly be thankful.
