It's was wonderful to hear that those Oswestrian rapscallions The Kayas were releasing a debut single, even more wonderful to hear that it's an absolute belter. "I Have Been Waiting" is dose of unbridled youth and energy decanted, distilled and vacuum packed into exactly two minutes of indie pop perfection. Last month at the The Pigeon Detectives gig Matt Bowman said "Hey go and buy our record coz we need to get the shit out of the charts". Well when you hear The Kayas it makes you believe that one day The Band will again be king, not only in the album charts but also in the single charts. Its early days for The Kayas, but what a start - Get it here!
