Now I know how you feel sometimes you just can't be arsed to get out there to see bands. You're a little too reliant on the idiot box, a little too strapped for KA$H, a little too old, a little bit too pissed to walk past the off licence alone. Well if you need an extra push in the direction of The Young Knives here it is:

REASON 5231a: The last time we saw THE YOUNG KNIVES it was at the WULFRUN HALL Wolverhampton in August '08, for the first three tracks House of Lords played with his flies at full mast. What d'you mean why was I looking. He'd got a new bass (cough). Anyway I reckon if his flies had been at full mast we would have been able to see his special limited edition YOUNG KNIVES pants, the ones with a hand embroidered picture of a worm on a hook and the words GIRL BAIT emblazoned on them. Anyway Henry put him right by telling him no one wanted to see that and the sexual tension was gone in an instant.

But all the same in these times where there's not enough sex and nudity in the music business. Erm ok scratch that. All the same in these times of meticulously overworked stage performances (you know who you are) its good to see that some bands can come on half cocked and still pull it off - ho ho bing bing! - Half Cocked Sexual Tension is our REASON No. 5231a for going to see The Young Knives Live.
