Pete Postlewaite who lived not far from me in deepest darkest Shropshire unfortunately passed over to the other side at the begining of January. No one can doubt that he was a truly great actor who'll be remembered for his work alone, for a long time to come. I'll remember him though simply as a bloke, walking through Ludlow with his wife and kids on a warm summer day during the festival. Unaffected, unassuming - real.
