Now I've been coming "On the Beat" for thirty years and not just to browse, I've bought stuff from here over the years. But this is the first time I've ever instilled the name of the shop into my mind. The place hasn't changed one jot over the years, it's still a grotty Aladdin's cave of a place and exactly how a Secondhand record shop should be. No new stuff, mainly vinyl and a goodly supply of music memorabilia. Wonderful!

But hey where's SID gone?
There used to be a mosaic of SID in Hanway Street - but not no more, for why?
I bet it's that bleedin' Boris twatting Johnson who's to blame!
