Heart of a Punk Soul of a Rasta

Trawling through the internet today it was a real pisser to find that the French Reggae Record Label MAKASOUND has gone tits up. The label filed for bankruptcy last month citing illegal downloads as the main reason for their demise. This is very sad news. But unlike when I finally shuffle off leaving behind nothing more than a nasty smell, MAKASOUND have left behind a massively decent body of work.

It's very easy with every passing knock that ROOTS REGGAE gets to wring your hands and become negative. But this isn't the way it should be. When someone or something dies you've got to remember good and celebrate, so here's some of that MAKASOUND GOOD STUFF.
