2 Tone CENTRAL Cafe in Cov

2 Tone

2 - TONE CENTRAL COV

Hey John I went to Coventry the other day.

Did you Ed?

Yeah I did. And I'm not going there again.
Wait, I'm joking I got myself a Cheap Day Saver Budget Class Return Ticket and went to have gander at 2 Tone Central situated in the Coventry Students Union Building hard up against the Cathedral.

It was FREE and the CAFÉ charges student prices even if your a sad old, smelly & bald person like me; so everything was sweet.

What have they got there Ed? What's this pic on the right?

It's one of the EXHIBITS John. It's a RUDE BOYS bedroom CIRCA 1981.

The walls of your bedroom were painted BLACK in 1980 weren't they Ed.

Yes they were but let's not talk about that now; below we've got a snap of some more stuff. They've got a small stage in the CAFÉ as well, it's a good space, good place for the likes of The Ripps to play.

Whatever happened to The Ripps Ed?

They've playing the CAFÉ on the 20th of Nov!

Oh

What else did you do in Coventry Ed?

I did a bit of the trail as featured in the latest edition of the illustrious SCENE Magazine. And then I went to COVENTRY Market - a place where I always end up humming "Flying Saucer Attack" by the Rezillos, I can't think why.

What did you do in COV Market Ed?

I went to Midnight Records click here - it was wonderful, loads and loads of stuff.

Are you going to tell us all about it and what you bought and shit?

No I'm f**KING not cos I fed up of this pissing fake interviewing premise and also I know THIS IS THE END...................
